Adaptive robotic welding

Automate high-mix welding

An adaptive cell that sees each part and welds it. High-mix with no programming, no fixtures, and just one operator required.

01 · The bottleneck

Welding sets the ceiling.

Cause
Skilled welders are scarce.

Welders retire faster than they’re replaced, and certified structural welders take years to train. They're expensive to hire, hard to retain, and stretched thin across shifts.

Effect
Steel ships slower than the market demands.

Structural work floods the shop, but because welding is the constraint, not demand, that work backs up behind the welders you have.

The opening
Automation is how you capture the gap the market is leaving open.
02 · The solution

The robot scans the part, understands it, and then welds.

Once per part family, the operator marks the weld locations on the 3D model. Then the pre-assembled part is placed freely in the cell, with no jig and no reference points. The cell scans the real workpiece, maps those welds onto how the part actually sits, and welds — adapting to deviations automatically in minutes, so the robot welds instead of waiting.

03 · Workflow

From drawing to weld, in one shift.

One integrated flow replaces three roles: engineer, programmer, and operator.
